May I just say that I am very, very unhappy with my scanner right now.

It might, of course, be the scanner software. I am unsure. But I dislike. This looks so, so much smoother in real life.

But ah well.

Yes! I missed Valentine's Day by two and a half hours (would have been only nearly two, had I not been fighting my scanner TO THE DEATH in hopes of defeating it), but... well, you love me anyway, right?

I started drawing this... oh... only around 8:00 or so Tuesday night. ^^ As such, I'm quite proud of it, heh. Knew I wanted to draw something SasuNaru for Valentine's Day, and I fail miserably at drawing people quickly, so.... meow! ^^

Probably the single most precious thing I've ever drawn.

And much less half-assed than my Valentine's art from the last two years.

They're so cute when they're snoozing together, aren't they?



Sketch: 0.7mm mech. pencil, ~2.5 hours.
Outline: Black Sanford uni-ball micro (my new FAVORITE inking pen ^^), ~1-2 hours.
Color: Crayola, PENTECH, RoseArt colored pencils, ~5-6 hours off and on (I did this while role-playing, so cut me some slack XD).
Leveling, cropping, blending in additional color at the corners where I was too lazy--er, where I didn't want to use my battery-operated pencil sharpener 'cause it would wake my roommate >_>;;--and fighting my FUCKING scanner: PhotoshopCS, ~45 minutes. =_=
