Killed the fox, unfortunately.
Not counting the shibby shoe, this is the last artwork I drew between the start of my job in the second week of June and the near-end of my job in the first week of August. X_x; Yeah, my job totally killed my artfulness. At the "orientation" we had to do for our jobs with VISTA (which seemed to involve lots of variations on trust falls), we were at the local 4H camp (which is back a dirt road of DEATH that was total SUCK to drive), and they had a few taxidermied animals on display in one corner. This poor adorable thing was among them, and being as I had my sketchbook with me in my Yaoi Bag, I simply had to draw him. My first attempt was Doofy-Lookin' Weasel-Fox, whereat I realized I couldn't draw him from that angle. So I went with the simpler one. I went with a sort of mix between anime and realism, and did the shading on my own terms because the lighting in there was suck. He's so cute! ^^ Mech. pencil; ~25-35 minutes. artwork (c) K.A. I like the outlines and the way they look furry, and also the shadows under the legs, especially the front ones.
